There are ample themes that can be adopted for hosting kitty parties for Indian women. An upcoming festival theme works good if you know how to pull it off.

There are some creative kitty party themes for you to throw a grand event for your friends. Kitty party planning for individuals can take a lot of work, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be done. If you plan and implement step by step, you’ll begin to get intrigued more and more.

So here are some interesting themes suitable to put up a memorable party for Indian women:

1.    Wedding theme

Weddings are famous among Indian women as it’s the one occasion that almost requires them to be at their best, and they abide by the necessity whenever they have a chance. This theme can do wonders for a kitty party. Dress code may include heavily embroidered sarees and bright lehengas with matching makeup and jewelry.

The décor could be done using materials such as garlands, rose petals, flowers, diyas or lamps, and loud sheets and cushions.

2.    Indian Village Theme

Who wouldn’t like to go back to the time when all we had in India was small villages and even smaller communities. It calls for a celebration of the lost times in today’s modern India - perfect theme to re-invoke ancient culture and tradition which Indian ladies would greatly adore.

You could dress up in traditional salwar-kameez or a plain long skirt paired up with a simple shirt, or any other cultural clothing. Jewelry and accessories need not be too loud. Simple glass bangles and an aknlet could do the job.

To deck up the venue, you can use clay pots for holding liquid items, folding beds or jute charpoys to lay out for guests.

3.    Rajasthani Theme

Who wouldn’t like a taste of some Rajasthani finesse for a kitty party. India’s rich and diverse cultures and traditions can alone make for a long list of distinct themes. Rajasthani theme is one of the more cherished and popular themes to go with.

Dressing may consist of the conventional ghagra-choli along with some vibrant bangles and accessories, and makeup.

You can drape your couch in sheets with mirror and sequin work on it along with colorful cushions.

Animal prints and Rajasthani artifacts are easily available in the market and can give the décor an ethnic feel.
